Overall, Adidas Hyperon is a value for money running shoe from Adidas. And a great option for women under 3000 Rs.
Who These Shoes are For
Of course, my focus was to find shoes that are appropriate for running. We know that running is a very demanding activity. And if these shoes can be used for it, they can be used for other low impact activities. Walking, jogging, playing badminton for example. Consider these shoes as general multipurpose sports shoes.
Try not to use your running shoes for activities other than running. But if you would like to wear these shoes for casual occasions sometime; you can do that. Some of them look pretty cool. Limit it though.
I would also like to point out that some people use their running shoes in the gym to lift weights. It is not a good practice and should be avoided.
The reason behind this is – running shoes are squishy; and when you lift heavy weights wearing them, your feet sink into the squishy insoles. You don’t want that. What you need for the gym is – shoes with solid flat soles. There are shoes made specifically for that purpose. Get those instead.
Or you can lift weight barefoot if your gym allows that. I used to do this and it felt good.
Things to consider
Size – When it comes to the size of running shoes, go for a half or a full size up than your formal shoes. You will hardly find half sizes in the Indian marketplace so go one full size bigger. Your shoe will appear a little bigger on your feet which you may find awkward in the beginning. But believe me, this is the best fitting advice anyone can give you about running shoes.
